Bellevue update Feb 21st 2026

We are close to wrapping up the construction for the Bellevue house. Got to go to the stone installer’s factory to look over the stone and layout for the calacutta gold marble we are using. The client ended up going with a real dramatic piece and I think that is great, when you are spending calacutta gold money, you want something that wows.

Some of the wood panels are up and the cabinet doors are painted and ready to be installed (in another room for now). The fireplace is gonna need some rerouting for some of the water supply plumbing so we might have an extra week on top of everything else.

The white oak paired with the existing dark wood (wenge like) to give it a real classic look and I think goes a long way to making the space more refined and richness in materiality.
